Choose Our Charities
by Barbara Bugg, President
One of the goals of GGRA and the Southern Spurs Rodeo is to raise money for charity. As an association we have been proud of the amount of money we have been able over the years to award our chosen charities. Now we are working towards a rodeo in 2008 and we need to select our charities. Obtain A Little Night Music

Join us for Cinco de Mayo and “El Rodeo” on May 5
|Mark your calendars now and gather all your friends for a fun evening May 5 at Stage Door. The evening will start at 8:00 p.m. and this will be our first fund raiser for our 2007-2008 charities. APU Student Harmony Latham Named Miss Rodeo USA
We will be sponsoring a blow out Cinco de Mayo party and are having another one of our famous “mock rodeos.”
There will be special shooters for the evening, raffles, a silent auction, ribbons and maybe even rodeo buckles for the winners! We’ll be doing goat dressing (wait ‘til you see the goat), barrel racing on a tricycle, stick horse flag racing, ride a cowboy, and dress a drag. Proceeds for the evening will also add to our seed money for a rodeo in 2008. Be thinking about what you can donate for the silent auction or any businesses you can approach for a donation. If you are interested in helping plan the event, contact Susan B. via email at email@example.com.
